Water Baptism
The word Baptize comes from the Greek verb "bapizo" meaning to immerse, to dip as in the dyeing of a garment, requiring the complete submerging of the object. In Matthew 28: 19-20, Jesus commands his followers to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit...." Baptism is the means by which followers of Christ are identified.
All Baptism participants are required to attend a Water Baptism class which is taught prior to each baptism. We offer Water Baptism in the Spring and the Fall.

Baby Dedication
The dedication of a child is an acknowledgement by parents that their child is a gift from God. It is a promise to rear the child for God's glory. In committing their child to Him, they establish their roles as stewards of God's inheritance entrusted to their care. Child dedications were customary in Biblical times. For example, Jesus was dedicated in the Temple (Luke 2:22 - 35), and during his ministry children were brought to him for His blessing (Mark 10:16). Baby dedications are held several times throughout the year. For more information please contact Debbie Matts at 686-1400 x102.
