Ministry of Helps

Greeters

Once inside the church, you will be greeted with a handshake and a smile and given a copy of our weekly bulletin. The purpose of this ministry is to make sure that every soul that comes through our doors is greeted like family. Greeters are also responsible for assisting with directions, information regarding upcoming events, and providing any church materials.

Ushers

The main function of this ministry is to maintain order within the sanctuary. The ushers duty is to help our congregants find seating, welcome our first time visitors, and take all offerings. They are also there to answer any questions, assist with directions, and provide any information and materials that may be needed.

Parking Lot Attendants

The first point of contact our congregants and honored guests engage in is with this dedicated group of servants. You will always be greeted with a warm welcome and our attendants will make sure you find a parking spot, as well as help direct the flow of traffic.

Hospitality

This ministry serves the Pastor in providing a place of hospitality for Pastor and guest ministers. They also serve at various fellowship functions throughout the year.

Fellowship

This ministry serves refreshments for Ministry of Helps workers who labor at both Sunday services. They also prepare the refreshments for Fellowship Sundays which are held on the first Sunday of each month beginning in May and ending in October weather permitting.

Visitor Outreach

Consists of friendly, outgoing people who join with Pastor Ray and the Elders to make sure our visitors feel right at home. Whether you are just passing through town or looking for a home church this ministry is there to answer your questions and make sure you are treated like family.

Children’s Church

If you love kids then this might be the ministry for you. This ministry instructs our children in the Word of God with love and lots of fun.

Youth

If you want to work with teens then join the 24/7 youth ministry. This ministry for 6-12 grade helps young teens develop a personal relationship with the Lord and deal with the many challenges facing our young people today.

Media

Lights, Camera, Action. You don’t need to be Spielberg just have an interest in working behind the cameras in this very important ministry that records and produces our half hour cable program “Changed Forever.” In addition, this ministry produces the Compact Discs of Pastor’s messages and is responsible for the screens in the sanctuary.

Bookstore

Prison

Those who serve in this ministry have a real heart to reach out and spread the word to those incarcerated in our prison system. In addition to a weekly prayer meeting, this ministry personally goes into county and state prisons to bring hope to the hopeless.

Cleaning

This is a real behind the scenes ministry. Made up of dedicated and humble servants their job is to make sure God’s house is always immaculate. Unlike many upfront ministries the only one who gets to see you in action is the Lord himself.

Sound

This ministry operates our state of the art sound system making sure that Pastor, guest ministers and our worship ministry is properly wired for sound.

Worship

This Worship Team has the privilege to lead our congregation in Praise and Worship as we honor the presence of our Lord. In every lyric we sing, every note we play, it is all about Jesus. Consider joining the team if you love to worship the Lord and can carry a tune, or if you play an instrument and want to use your gift to honor God.
